I Res Fund is a long-term residential investment fund focusing on mid-to-upper level residential investment properties. The company was formed in 2018 as a collaboration between Castleview Property Fund and SLM Group, uniquely combining the expertise of Castleview’s retail property and asset management principles with the residential experience and knowledge of SLM Group.
I Res Fund places significant focus on the following key investment principles:
• Minimum net income yield • Forecasted capital growth nodes • Mid-to-upper level residential (houses and 2-to-3 storey walk-ups) • Decentralized around major urban metros • Geographically balanced and spread
We get involved in both development and completed stock phases whereby if the respective developable land would meet the investment criteria, the fund will develop to hold, or alternatively acquire straight out completed units. Completed units are acquired either as a bulk pre-sale from other developers on residential development stock still in it’s development phase or as completed fully tenanted stock.
